PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the drift of air blown from a blowing cylinder and the dispersion in the quantity of air blown from a plurality of air supply passages provided around an evaporation cylinder. SOLUTION: A burner 10 comprises a combustion disc 16 in which a combustion chamber 11 is formed, an evaporation cylinder 39 arranged in the combustion chamber 11, the blowing cylinder 41 located in the evaporation cylinder 39 for guiding air supplied into the evaporation cylinder 39, a blower 14 for supplying air into the blowing cylinder 41 via an air supply passage 17 located in the direction of crossing the axis of the blowing cylinder 41, and a plurality of air supply pipes 49 provided between the combustion chamber 11 and an air chamber 13A for supplying air around the evaporation cylinder 39. A straightening member 55 is arranged in the air chamber 13A, and holes 60, 70 provided in its plane has a number or size such that the quantity of rising air, varying in each of upstream, middle and downstream regions A1, A3, A2, is approximately equal in the lateral direction.
