PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize water leakage to the outside of a hole retaining pipe for water collecting boring from its water collecting holes and to efficiently discharge water from the tip of the hole retaining pipe when underground water taken in from the water collecting holes of the hole retaining pipe flows down naturally in the case of installing the hole retaining pipe in the natural ground in the state of mounting cylindrical protrusions in holes bored in the suitable parts of a pipe body, so as to project inward from the pipe inner surface and providing a tip part hole of the cylindrical protrusion laterally. SOLUTION: The mounting holes 2 for water collecting cylindrical protrusions are provided in set parts of the peripheral surface of the pipe body 1. The tip part of the protrusion 3 with a water collecting hole 4 mounted into the hole 2 is projected into the pipe body, and the tip 3<SB>1</SB>is closed, while the protrusion in the pipe body is provided with the lateral hole 3<SB>2</SB>facing only a drain port of the pipe body.
