PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a basic airtight spacer excellent in working efficiency in the case of construction, making it convenient to convey the basic airtight spacer and facilitating the manufacture. SOLUTION: The basic airtight spacer 1 is held between a strip footing 2 and a sill 3. The basic airtight spacer 1 comprises a hard synthetic resin-made spacer body 11 and elastic materials 12 such as a rubber-made or a soft synthetic resin-made or the like. The spacer body 11 has a longer body in the longitudinal direction, and two elastic materials 12 are attached to each of both front and rear sides thereof so that they can be projected. The thickness of the spacer body 11 is thin in the central part 13 and is thick in both right and left edge side sections 14, and curve easy working such as a slit 16 and a V-shaped groove 17 or the like is applied to the thick edge side sections 14 at a proper interval. The spacer body 11 and the elastic materials 12 are simultaneously, integrally and consecutively manufactured by an extrusion-molding working method, and works for facilitating the curve and an anchor bolt hole 15 are latter processed.
