PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-up display capable of saving a mounting space for a head-up display device, having little deterioration of an indicator 2, being compatible with an air conditioner and the like, and suppressing influence on a layout of the inside of an instrument panel. SOLUTION: The indicator 2 is provided in the inside of the instrument panel 5 so as to freely rise and fall, and an indicator actuator 3 making the indicator 2 rise/fall is provided. While the indicator 2 is turned down, a lid portion 24 of the indicator 2 structures a part of surfaces of the instrument panel 5. A mirror portion 4 having mirror reflecting a display image of the indicator 2 to a combiner is provided in the inside of the instrument panel 5 so as to freely rise and fall, and a mirror portion actuator 46 making the mirror portion 4 rise/fall is provided. While the mirror portion 4 is turned down, a lid portion 42 of the mirror portion 4 structures a part of surfaces of the instrument panel 5. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
