The invention relates to a novel method for separating polymer systems in terms of their molecular weight, chemical structure, chain architecture and colloidal additives. Separations of this type are currently achieved by means of selective precipitation from a solution, fractionated crystallisation, likewise from a solution and using gel-chromatography. The invention relates to a separation of polymer systems by means of permeation through partially crystalline, cross-linked, amorphous polymer films with a thickness in the nanometer range. It is necessary to restrict the thicknesses to the nanometer range to achieve a high polymer throughput. A particular characteristic of said method is its selectivity vis-à-vis colloidal additives with a non-chain like structure. |
