摘要 The invention relates to a method of detecting adenosine triphosphate (ATP) involving the use of silicon oxides which are functionalised with organic molecules that can emit a macroscopically-measurable signal when in aqueous suspension and in the presence of ATP. The aforementioned functionalised solids are prepared by activating the surface of the inorganic material, anchoring the active molecule and eliminating the non-anchored reagents. Once the functionalised solid has been obtained, the ATP detection method comprises the following steps consisting in: 1<A_>) suspending the solid in an aqueous medium; 2<A_>) mixing the suspension with dissolutions of ATP; and 3<A_>) measuring the variation in the characteristic signal of the functionalised solid. The materials used have the following compositions: (SiO2)1-x-y[SiO(4-n)/2 (OH)n]x(SiO3/2R)y(SiO2)1-x-y-z(AoOa) z/o (M2O)z' [SiO(4-n)/2 (OH)n]x(SiO3/2R)y; 0 </= x </= 1; 0 < y < 1; 0 </= z </= 1; 0 < z' < 0.5; n=1, 2; A represents a metal from groups (3-7)A and (1-8)B; M represents an alkaline metal; R represents an organic molecule (macroscopic signal in solution). Said materials can be obtained in the form of dispersed powders or monoliths.
