Two mobile telephone (MT) systems each have MT networks (N1-N3) with their ranges of radiotelephone coverage overlapping locally. The networks link to a common device (RNC). An MT is located in the overlapping area and has devices for transmitting a subscriber's mobile telephone signals to the networks. The common device sends a signal (SPLIT) with data on the allocation of data sent. An Independent claim is also included for a device in a heterogeneous network for organizing a subscriber's transmission of data via a mobile telephone.
