PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology capable of customizing an operation image for a digital television system with an easy operation by performing push distribution by mixing a program for changing the operation screen with a broadcast wave and enabling a digital television side to make selections according to a user's preference.

SOLUTION: A digital television is provided a storing means for storing the user's preference information, a receiving means for receiving the program for adding an additional menu item to a menu image and keyword information, and an installing means for installing the program received by the receiving means when keyword information to be received by the receiving means coincides with the user's preference information stored in the storing means.
