<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp the time difference and the drift simultaneously without receiving signals generated by a time wide-area supplying means, to compare a plurality of clocks dispersed in a wide area, and to generate a synchronous pulse. <P>SOLUTION: The wide area clock comparison system comprising a device 103 which supplies common clock, a BS digital broadcasting satellite 104 which supplies time data, and a pulse measurement device 101 which generates a reference periodical pulse or a local pulse, wherein the pulse measurement device measures the drift of the local pulse with reference to the common clock from a frequency wide-area supply means and measures the generation time of the local pulse with reference to the time data from the time wide-area supply means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
