<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sprawl wire for fishing tackle, which is readily handled until fishing, is readily taken when a fish is caught, has merits of both a conventional stainless steel sprawl wire and a shape memory alloy sprawl wire, is convenient for storage and conveyance, and is readily used. <P>SOLUTION: The sprawl wire is equipped with an arm part and a shaft part. The arm part and the shaft part are made of different kinds and/or different sizes of wires. A soft shape memory alloy wire is used in the arm part and a hard wire such as stainless steel is used in the shaft part.
