PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner which can compactly be stored without taking time and effort. SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner 1 includes: a main body 2 with a built-in electric blower 3; a suction hose 5 connected with the main body 2; a suction pipe 7 connected with the tip of the hose 5, and a suction mouth body 8 connected at the tip of the pipe 7. The vicinity of the main body connection part 6 of the hose 5 is covered with an elastic curved member 20. When tension is not acted on the hose 5, the elastic curved member 20 spontaneously keeps a curved state. Thus, in the case of storing the main body 2 and the pipe 7 standing upright, the hose 5 can be gathered around the main body 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
