PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top-face light emitting device of which an electrode of a light-emitting element and a source electrode are integrated, in order to eliminate the process related to the formation of an interlayer insulation film and a contact hole, and to provide a manufacturing method of the same. SOLUTION: The light-emitting device has a structure of integrating the electrode of the light-emitting element and the source electrode. With this, the process related to the formation of the interlayer insulation film and the contact hole can be eliminated, and total process is shortened. Further, the electrodes are so structured that a part functioning as an electrode of the light-emitting element and a part functioning as a source electrode can well exert their respective functions.
