PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push-button switch which can be simply fastened to its front panel without the fear of fall-off of the switch upon mounting of the switch on the front panel. SOLUTION: In the push-button switch 1 for an automatic vending machine, cable guides 85 and boss parts 83 of a base 8 are inserted respectively into a front panel in which square insertion holes are made in correspondence to the cable guides 85 and the boss parts 83. Here, longitudinal sides of the insertion holes of the front panel are inserted against elasticity of slanted parts 81b of locking pieces 81 of the base 8, so that, when they go over tip parts 81c of the locking pieces 81, the slanted parts 81b of the locking pieces 81 restore to the original state to temporarily tack the base 8 and the front panel. The push-button switch 1 for an automatic vending machine is fixed to the front panel by fastening a channel member covering the base 8 with a locking member with the use of screw holes 82 of the base 8.
