PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow slab and its construction method that reduces the deadweight of the slab without unnecessarily reducing its bending or shearing rigidity, always secures the required bending or shearing rigidity irrespective of the direction and arrangement of hollow tubes, is free to set the thickness of the slab in order to realize a long-span slab regardless of the size of hollow tubes and is easy in distributing reinforcements in the slab. SOLUTION: The hollow slab is provided with a plurality of hollow parts within it. Hollow tubes that are previously buried laterally (in a direction parallel with the slab surface) are now vertically buried in the slab to form a plurality of vertical hollow parts within it.
