PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side treatment device of a track rail capable of more efficiently carrying out an eliminating operation of oil and fat having foreign matter mixture adhered to the side of the head section of the rail or burr. SOLUTION: The side treatment device of the track rail is equipped with a cleaning rotator (grinding rotator 12/rotating brush 12A) formed by closely mounting and arranging a large number of grinding elements adhering a large number of abrasive grains to the front of a rotary disc and a traveling truck 40 making a cleaning treatment means 11 consisting of a driving device for driving the cleaning rotator and a supporting structural body and the cleaning rotator supported so as to abut on the side of the head section 2 of the rail 1 on the track travel, and the cleaning rotator is easily changed in accordance with a working condition.
