PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric operation device which is equipped with a metal gimbal capable of reducing the manufacturing cost of a forming mold. SOLUTION: In the electric operation device, which is provided with an operation lever 22 supported by a body 23 so as to sway via a universal joint 27, a first gimbal 24 and a second gimbal 25 preparing a long groovy guide part 24a to which the operation lever 22 is inserted, a first potentiometer 32 which detects a direction and the angle of rotation of a first gimbal 24 and outputs a signal corresponding to the direction and angle of the rotation, and a second potentiometer 33 which detects a direction and an angle of rotation of a second gimbal 25 and outputs a signal corresponding to the direction and angle of the rotation, the first gimbal 24 and the second gimbal 25 are formed into a ring form by winding a wire, and the first gimbal 24 and the second gimbal 25 are caulked with a first rotation shaft 34 and a second rotation shaft 36.
