<p>An exercise machine has an upright frame supporting a waist frame. The user stands upright and swivels his waist to generate an orbiting movement with the waist frame, which is linked to the support frame by cranks and with adjustable brakes to work against. The waist frame opens to allow the user to step in and out of the machine. The opening action is via a hinged section, a belt section or via any suitable means. The action of the cranks can be synchronized using a secondary crank system.</p> |
