<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger for removing harmful gas components including nitrogen oxide and a compact heat exchanging ventilator using the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the heat exchanger 1, partition members 2 having heat transfer property are formed in a plurality of layers at predetermined intervals with interval retaining members 3 therebetween so that primary fluid and secondary fluid alternately pass between the layers, whereby heat held by each of the primary fluid and the secondary fluid is continuously exchanged therebetween through the partition members 2. A harmful gas component removing function is provided for at least one of the partition members 2 and the interval retaining members 3 and moisture permeable films 7 are formed on the single faces of the partition members 2 in contact with the fluid. The heat exchanger is incorporated in an area on part of a supply air duct for supplying outside air into a room and an exhaust air duct independent therefrom for exhausting air from the room to the outside. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
