IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS AND PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus that performs multiple-gradation processing while preventing deterioration in picture quality accompanying error diffusion.

SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus is equipped with an error diffusion processing part 6 which performs error diffusion processing for artificially increasing the number of display gradations of a display and a dither processing circuit 5 that is provided in front of the error diffusion processing part and suppresses a flicker from being generated by converting error data which easily changes in state into data which hardly changes in state by adding and subtracting a dither waveform to and from an input signal D1.
