<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED light source whose dampproofness is improved with translucent resin which seals LED bare chips mounted on a printed board. <P>SOLUTION: The LED light source comprises a plurality of the LED bare chips C<SB>11</SB>to C<SB>88</SB>mounted on the multilayer printed board 22 and the translucent sealing resin 26 which seals the LED bare chips C<SB>11</SB>to C<SB>88</SB>. A part of a wiring pattern (not shown in the figure) connecting the LED bare chips C<SB>11</SB>to C<SB>88</SB>is connected with a part of a power supply land pattern 42 via the wiring pattern (not shown in the figure) formed on the surface of an insulating layer (not shown in the figure) except for the surface of an insulating layer 32 where the LED bare chips C<SB>11</SB>to C<SB>88</SB>are mounted.
