PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing system which is capable of ensuring an audience's field of vision and hardly assigns a complicated work to an explainer. SOLUTION: When a digital camera 10 detects that an object OB is placed on an object mounting place P, the digital camera 10 photographs the object OB automatically. After photographing is finished, the obtained still image data are stored in a still image memory and displayed by an indicating unit 30. The stay 260 of a support stand 20 is evacuated to assure an audience's field of vision. While the stay 260 is evacuated, the digital camera 10 is put in a power-saving mode.
