PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device which can easily remove ink and foreign substances adhered to a cleaning member for cleaning of a recording head, and moreover, is made compact by a space-saving constitution. SOLUTION: The inkjet recording device 1 has the recording head 41 for discharging ink from an ink discharge opening, a blade 60 as the cleaning member for cleaning an ink discharge opening face of the recording head 41, and an ink absorber 70 as a removing means for removing the ink and foreign substances adhered to the blade 60.
