PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a striking sound of a sun visor's body against a ceiling to be reduced, prevent the sun visor from being hung down under its practical used state of the body and further enable a machining expenditure for a shaft molding die to be reduced. SOLUTION: A sun visor's body 1 is rotatably supported at a shaft 3 of a vehicle body 20 by a support 2 and moved from its storing position to its appropriate position, to be held there. The support 2 is provided with a pair of bearings 5 in each of which the support 2 penetrates the shaft 3, and a spring installing part 8 arranged between both bearings and integrally formed with them. A fork-shaped spring 9 installed over the shaft 3 is fixed to the spring installing part 8. One of surfaces opposing each other of a fork-shaped head 9a of the spring 9 has a pair of flat surfaces 12, 12, and the other surface is formed of a single flat surface 13. Further, the shaft 3 has a pair of chamferred portions 14, 14 oppositely abutting against and engaging with each of the flat surfaces 12, 12. The body 1 of the sun visor is constructed such that it can be moved from the storing position to an appropriate position, to be held. The flat surface 13 formed at the other surface of the fork-shaped head 9a of the spring 9 directly abuts against an arcuate part 16 of the shaft 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
