PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic storage device capable of reducing a cell area, and a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: The magnetic storage device includes a first wiring 10 extended in a first direction, a second wiring 23 extended in a second direction different from the first direction, a magnetic resistance effect element 19 arranged on the cross point of the first wiring 10 and the second wiring 23, and a metallic layer 13 connected to the magnetic resistance effect element 19, of which a part of side face is common with the side face of the magnetic resistance effect element 19.
