PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a Web application developing method and a system using the method for making it unnecessary to store a mapping definition file at a Web server side. SOLUTION: This Web application developing method comprises a process for preparing an HTML file in which information is described and a process for preparing a program named on the basis of information for realizing processing by a Web server. Also, this system for providing a Web application is provided with a Web client who requests screen processing by extracting information from the HTML file and adding it when any event is caused, and makes a display screen display a response, and a Web server for specifying processing contents on the basis of the added information, and for returning the processing result to the Web client.
