<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent a PS printing plate for printing from being mounted by mistake which has been conventionally a problem, and to reduce defective printing and paper waste. <P>SOLUTION: To prevent the PS printing plate from being mounted by mistake in a printing machine in which the PS printing plate 1 is mounted on a printing plate cylinder to perform printing, a printing plate mounting position information added in advance on the PS printing plate 1 is read by a reading mechanism 13 to convert it into a specified code signal, and the content of the code signal is displayed as an uneven code or an hole arranging code on a non-printed part of a gripper end of the PS printing plate by an uneven processing or a hole-making machine 15. After the PS printing plate is mounted on the printing plate cylinder, the uneven code or the hole arranging code is read by an optical sensor, and the content of the printing plate mounting position information and the content of the information read by the optical sensor are collated with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
