<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reader-writer capable of simply mounting an SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) and making a stable non-contact communication. <P>SOLUTION: This reader-writer 1 for the SIM is configured so that an SIM 2 can be mounted so as to be pulled in/out, wherein one edge side of a holder part 10 is provided with a connector part 3 for external equipment, and the other edge side is provided with an SIM pull-in/out port 15. (1) A stepped section 5 forming the same plane as the lower edge face of the pull-in/out port on which the SIM can be temporarily placed at the time of inserting the SIM is formed at the front part of the SIM pull-in/out port. (2) When the SIM is placed on external non-contact communication equipment, the reader/writer 1 for SIM is brought into contact with the non-contact communication equipment in a plane condition by forming a recessed groove 6m or a notch where a portable chains 4 can be housed or a bent or tilted mounting hole 14 on the lower face of the reader/writer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
