PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for manufacturing a paper making diaphragm which can make the orientation and direction of fibrous materials radial very easily and by which can easily manufacture a paper making diaphragm and to provide a paper making diaphragm manufactured by the method and device therefor. SOLUTION: A water stream that goes toward the circumferential part of a paper making screen 4 from the central part 4a side or toward the central part 4a side from the circumferential part side moves the fibrous materials radially along the stream upward to the top part of the cone-shaped paper making screen 4 placed inside a paper making tub 6 into which slurry of the fibrous materials is put. A mask plate 7 having slurry introduction holes 7a and 7d for the fibrous materials is provided outside the paper making screen 4, and the flow of the slurry of the fibrous materials is created by depressurizing a paper making screen support part 1 with the paper making screen 4 set. An evacuating control valve 3, a vacuum pump 2, etc., provided under the paper making screen support part 1 depressurize the paper making screen support part 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
