PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of a digital information apparatus capable of clearly confirming a source of an image file attached to mail so as to facilitate the arrangement of the image file. SOLUTION: The control method of the digital information apparatus comprising a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) provided with a radio communication function includes the steps of: confirming a type of a file attached to received mail; capturing an image file by means of an electronic album function of mail software when the image file is attached to the mail; and adding at least one of a mail address, a name and hypocorism, whereby a sender of the image file can be particularized, to an image attribute of the image file.
