PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To build up a VoIP network system at low cost wherein terminals using different network protocols are intermingled by allowing a gateway apparatus to apply network protocol conversion only to an access request needing the conversion. SOLUTION: A management server 3 receiving an access request 12 from a terminal 1A using the IPv4 to a terminal 1B using the IPv6 decides that the terminal 1B cannot directly be connected to the terminal 1A, returns an access request destination revision notice 13 including a host name 'gwv6.hoge.com' of the gateway speaker 2 having an IPv6 conversion function usable by the terminal 1B to the terminal 1A, the gateway apparatus 2 transmits a connection request 15 leading to the terminal 1B to the management server 3 in response to the access request 14 under the host name from the terminal 1A and transmits an access request 17 to the terminal 1B by using IPv6 on the basis of an access request destination revision notice 16 returned from the management server 3 in response to the access request 15.
