PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that, when a heat shielding cylinder having a protrusion at the upper end and a burner cap body are integrally molded, a metal material does not enter into a protruding portion of the heat shielding cylinder and so the metal material does not run up to the end of the protrusion, resulting in a defective burner cap. SOLUTION: On the inner peripheral face of the heat shielding cylinder 4, three protruding line portions 42 are provided at intervals with center angles of 120°ranging from the upper end to the lower end. The protrusions 6 protruding upward are provided at peripheral positions where the protruding line portions 42 are formed at the upper end of the heat shielding cylinder 4.
