PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an orifice type steam trap allowing to confirm whether washing of a screen is necessary or not and to wash the screen without removing a trap from a steam piping system. SOLUTION: A trap casing is formed of an inlet side member 1 and an outlet side member 2. The inlet side member 1 is formed with an inlet 3, and the outlet side member 2 is formed with an outlet 4, and a valve ball 7 having a through hole 6 is arranged between the inlet and the outlet freely to rotate. A partition member 15 having an orifice 14 is provided inside the through hole 6. A first screen 16 is fitted inside the through hole 6 on one opening edge side of the orifice 14, and a second screen 17 is fitted inside the through hole 6 on the other opening end side thereof. A pressure detecting unit 18 and a pressure detecting unit 19 are provided in front and rear of the first screen 16 and connected to a computing unit 20. The computing unit 20 displays a pressure difference between the pressure detecting unit 18 and the pressure detecting unit 19 and while generates an alarm when the pressure difference is the predetermined value or more.
