PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver salt photothermographic dry imaging material having high sensitivity and low fog, excellent in image color tone and in silver image stability after heat development, and excellent also in image density unevenness, and to provide an image recording method using the same and an image forming method for the same. SOLUTION: The silver salt photothermographic dry imaging material containing a photosensitive emulsion comprising non-photosensitive silver aliphatic-carboxylate grains and photosensitive silver halide grains, a silver ion reducing agent and a binder, is characterized in that a cyan-developing leuco dye is contained and the photosensitive silver halide grains include photosensitive silver halide grains having an average grain diameter of 0.01-0.04μm in a ratio of 5-50 mass% of all the photosensitive silver halide grains (expressed in terms of silver).
