PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer image display method, a computer, and a display driver, wherein different-resolution images are displayed on the same screen of a high-definition display. SOLUTION: A standard display driver secure a 1st memory area in the memory space of an image memory to write image information to be displayed with specified resolution on the entire display screen of the high-definition display. When an image display area displayed with high-definition resolution different from the specified resolution is specified, a 2nd memory area corresponding to the image display area in the 1st memory area is set and a display driver for high-definition resolution secures a 3rd memory area in the memory space of the image memory to write image information to be displayed in the image display area with high-definition resolution to display the image information to be displayed on the high-definition display by writing it in the 1st memory excluding the 2nd memory area and the 3rd memory area.
