<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water supply apparatus capable of effectively functioning a power consumption controlling function for controlling power consumption by interrupting a commercial power source, without reducing operativity of hot water supply instruction. <P>SOLUTION: The hot water supply apparatus is provided with a relay contact SW that allows or interrupts power supply from the commercial power source PW to the main body 1 of the hot water supply apparatus, EEPROM that stores the operating status of the main body 1 of the hot water supply apparatus when a given condition is satisfied, a main body side microcomputer 12 that interrupts the power supply from the commercial power source PW by turning off the relay contact SW when a given condition is satisfied, and a water flow switch 33 that implements an ON/OFF operation based on implementation of a given operation of the main body 1 of the hot water supply apparatus after the power supply of the commercial power source PW to the main body 1 of the hot water supply apparatus is interrupted by the main body side microcomputer 12. Based on the ON operation by the water flow switch 33, the operating status of the main body 1 of the hot water supply apparatus is returned to the operating status stored by the EEPROM. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
