PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately and accurately perform an abnormality detection of a fan for cooling by processing a signal according to the rotating condition of the fan for cooling using a control device. SOLUTION: This device detects the abnormality of the fan 2 for cooling which forcedly cools a board device storing the control device 5A, and is provided with a rotation signal detection means 3 which is arranged to the fan 2 for cooling and outputs a fan rotation confirming signal comprised of a fan rotation signal 4A introduced according to the rotation of the fan. The fan rotation confirming signal comprised of the fan rotation signal 4A detected by the rotation signal detection means 3 is inputted to the control device 5A, whereby presence/absence of the fan rotation confirming signal comprised of the fan rotation signal 4A is always monitored by the control device 5A, and abnormality warning is performed when a state in which the signal is absent in a predetermined time is detected.
