PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply change attitude of a seat cushion by small operation force. SOLUTION: In this attitude change device for the seat changing attitude by turning the seat cushion 2 around a support shaft 4, a pulley 23 attached to the support shaft 4 is rotated by external tensile force through cables 33, 36 to turn the seat cushion 2. When compared with the case where the seat cushion 2 is directly operated by manual labor, operation becomes simple and operation property is improved. The pulley 23 is provided with a cable guide 24 whose distance from the support shaft 4 is continuously changed. When the seat cushion 2 is at a turn position for generating the maximum rotation moment, the relative relation between the seat cushion 2 and the pulley 23 is set in such a way that winding start ends 33c, 36c of the cables 33, 36 are at the maximum diameter part 24a position of the cable guide 24.
