PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image data displaying system in an imaging apparatus for distinguishing easily and displaying the image data when image data picked up by a plurality of imaging apparatuses are transferred ( or copied or transmitted) to each other and collecting and displayed on one imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: To a recording medium 109 of one imaging apparatus 100 out of a plurality of imaging apparatuses, image data recorded in a recording medium 109 of an imaging apparatus 100a other than the imaging apparatus 100 are transferred through communication connectors 105, 105a. Irrespective of the connected or non-connected state of the communication connectors 105, 105a, a microcomputer 500 is provided for distinguishing and displaying the image data picked up by the imaging apparatus 100 and the image data picked up by the imaging apparatus 100a by using instrument intrinsic information when the image data recorded in a recording medium 109 are displayed on a display unit 107 of the imaging apparatus 100.
