PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug for a coaxial cable for reducing a characteristic impedance when connecting the plug to a jack and improving operability when inserting the jack. SOLUTION: The plug 10 for a coaxial cable comprises: a plug pin 15 connected to a core wire 23 of the coaxial cable 21; a cap-shaped plug case 11 connected to a shield wire 24 of the coaxial cable 21 and having a front-end-side annular part 11a on its front end side and a rear-end-side annular part 11b on its rear end side; and a spring 40 provided inside of the front-end-side annular part 11a. When a cylindrical jack 30 is inserted into the plug case 11, it comes into contact with the spring 40 and the rear-end-side annular part 11b of the plug case 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
