PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passive sampler which has good operability at the time of analysis, is housed in a container capable of being hermetically closed by an O-ring to keep a background low and has good analyzing precision because highly efficient collection can be performed and the movement and overflow of a filler are eliminated by directly coating a sintered filter with an adsorbent. SOLUTION: The passive sampler in which the filter is coated with the adsorbent, is characterized in that a material used in the filter is produced by sintering or welding particles comprising polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, a polyester or a fluororesin and molded.
