PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost and hydraulically-driven traveling vehicle that can drive at middle speed and can be easily controlled while having a good response at the start and stop. SOLUTION: The hydraulically-driven traveling vehicle 1 comprises a variable-capacity hydraulic pump 7 driven by a drive means 6, and two-speed variable-capacity hydraulic motors 8A, 8B, 9A, 9B for receiving the hydraulic pressure from the hydraulic pump 7. The hydraulic motors 8A, 8B, 9A, 9B for rotatably driving the wheels are respectively provided for at least two driven wheels 3A, 3B, 5A, 5B. Each hydraulic motor 8A, 8B, 9A, 9B is independently constituted to have a two-speed gear. Each hydraulic motor 8A, 8B, 9A, 9B respectively varies the speed in two stages and thus the driving speed is determined. All hydraulic motors may be set at the low speed for low-speed driving, and at the high speed for high-speed driving; and a part of hydraulic motors may be set at the low speed and the others may be set at the high speed to perform the middle-speed driving. Depending on the number of the hydraulic motor, the number of the stages of the middle-speed driving may be increased and thereby varying the total number of the stages of the speed.
