PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension for a vehicle with a good maintainability that allows easy attachment and removal of a hydraulic oil pipe in a limited space, while facilitating the assembly of a hydraulic buffer or a pressure controller on the vehicle body and the replacement of the hydraulic buffer. SOLUTION: In this suspension for a vehicle, respective oil chambers of a hydraulic buffer with an end of a piston rod 3 (or a cylinder) attached to the vehicle body through an upper mount member 14 and the separately provided pressure controller are interconnected through a hydraulic oil pipe 5. A pair of pipe joint 22 and 23 is provided for attaching and detaching the hydraulic oil pipe 5 to and from the hydraulic buffer. At least the pipe joint 23 at the side of the hydraulic buffer is a self-sealing type, which is attached to and detached from the mating pipe joint 22 to automatically move a valve element 28 to open and close an oil passage 3a for communicating the hydraulic buffer with the pressure regulating device.
