PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an absorbent article, capable of reducing the use amount of rolled web and the waste thereof. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the absorbent article 1 has first to fourth processes, that is, the first process for bonding a surface sheet rolled web 11a and a rear surface sheet rolled web 11b along with an absorber 4 at a confluent part, the second process for cutting the rolled web bonded matter 11 to send the cut ones to an absorbing main body part 5, the third process for replacing the sending positions of first and second residual continuous matters 12a and 12b cut while branched and holding them to a width interval W<SB>3</SB>while arranging produced parts 13 on the outside and the fourth process wherein the first and second residual continuous matters 12a and 12b are allowed to meet with each other to be integrally sealed and wing parts 6 are formed by the produced parts 13 before cutting surplus part 15. The first and second continuous matters 12a and 12b are relatively shifted with respect to the absorbing main body part 5 so that the protruded parts 13 are arranged at the almost central part of the absorbing main body part 5.
