PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod with which an entangled fishing line is readily loosened and a rod pipe and a fishing line are prevented from being damaged even in a fishing rod in which a fishing line travels at the lower side of the rod pipe. SOLUTION: The fishing rod is equipped with a plurality of fishing line guides 26 which are fixed through a leg part 36 extended from a fishing line guide part 34 to the rod pipe 16, in which the fishing line guide part 34 is suspended from the rod pipe and which guide a fishing line along the lower side of the rod pipe between a rod butt side and a tip top. The fishing rod is equipped with a member 48 for eliminating difference in level between an edge part at the rod butt of a leg fixing part 38 for fixing the leg part 36 of the fishing line guide and the rod pipe 16 adjacent to the leg fixing part. The member for eliminating difference in level is furnished with a face for eliminating difference in level, which smoothly transfers the outer surface from the rod pipe to the leg fixing part.
