IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM AND POWER SUPPLY STATE NOTIFICATION METHOD TO BE APPLIED TO SAME SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient image forming system and a power supply state notification method applied to the same system.

SOLUTION: The CPU of a server device compares a count value of a reset frequency obtained from MIB (Management Information Base) of the image forming device for very prescribed time with a count value obtained in the last time (a step S3). When the count value is larger than the count value obtained in the last time (YES in a step 33), a signal of notifying the reset of the power supply of the image forming device is transmitted to respective terminals (a step S4). Each of the CPUs of the respective terminals receiving the signal displays a dialogue box including a message of notifying the reset of the power supply of the image forming device on a display. This constitution can prevent that an operator of each terminal transmits image data from the terminal without knowing that overlay data vanish and that an image without reflecting the overlay data is formed.
