<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact self-ballasted fluorescent lamp, in which fault of a lighting device by heat effects from the fluorescent lamp rising high in temperature in lighting is reduced, and in which reliability is enhanced. <P>SOLUTION: Because a convection suppression means consisting of glass wool is sealed in an air layer of 3 to 20 mm between the fluorescent lamp and the lighting device in the cover body, thermal influence on a lighting circuit is reduced by the air layer and the convection suppression means, and down-sizing can be made. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
