<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit print information to a printer without providing a storage element in a media pack (cartridge) storing printing paper, nor increasing costs. <P>SOLUTION: Barcodes or composite images are recorded (printed) on printing paper or the media pack in advance and read by the reading means of a printer.
