<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide type fuel cell with a simple structure and improved battery performance. <P>SOLUTION: A cylinder-shaped electrolyte has an air electrode 4 made of oxide on its outer surface and a fuel electrode 3 made of metallic material on its inner surface. A current collecting layer 5 made of porous metal layer having better conductivity than the fuel electrode 3 is arranged on the surface of the fuel electrode 3. The current collecting layer 5 is formed into a porous metallic layer by baking a mixture composed of a metal powder and a binder. A power taking-out lead wire 6 is arranged on the fuel electrode 3, and a power taking-out lead wire 7 is arranged on the air electrode 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
