<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure capable of automatically performing printing of data for backup in a proper time in a data collection processor, and minimizing a storage medium used for the backup printing even if the data are large. <P>SOLUTION: After data for one meter reading are inputted by one meter reading work and stored in a RAM (step S1). When the meter reading work of one day is not ended (S2), it is determined whether the number of data reaches a predetermined delimiter of one unit for performing the backup printing, for example, a delimiter such as 30 or 60 with 30 meter reading data stored in the RAM as one unit or not (S3).
