PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of joining a member consisting of a titanium alloy and a member consisting of one kind of metal selected from the group consisting of tungsten, a tungsten alloy, an iron based metal and a titanium alloy. SOLUTION: In the method of joining metallic members, when two of a member consisting of a titanium alloy and a member consisting of one kind of metal selected from the group consisting of tungsten, a tungsten alloy, an iron based metal and a titanium alloy are joined, as the member consisting of the titanium alloy, the one at least comprising titanium, vanadium and chromium is used, and the members are joined by pulse energizing.
